Infinity Biological Soils team recognizes that farming is at a transition point back to Conventional Farming and away from the use of chemicals and industrial farming practices. 

 

There are close to 5 billion hectares of farmed or pasture fields in the world today, all farmed or grazed by millions of farmers to feed billions of us. Almost all of these lands suffer from decayed soil health due to a decline in Soil Organic Matter (and therefore Carbon) and a subsequent decline in the soil biome (ecosystem). This has led to mechanical compaction that reduces the ability of soil to deliver nutrients to crops. We are seeing reducing crop harvests, even with chemicals, which is a clear indicator of the growing problem of soil health. 

 

Infinity Biological Soils has the vision and capability to make available the technology and expertise to produce optimized biological soils in the volume, quality, and consistency, for application back into fields, the world and farmers need to reestablish soil health and natural cultivation capacity from conventional farming. 

 

The IBS team has decades of soil sciences, health, agronomy, and project expertise across multiple continents and crops upon which they have relied to build the technology and farm-supporting business model.  

 

The Technology, a vessel-based Bio Reactor, was developed initially in the USA where it was very successful at producing composts and initial biological fertilizers. ​IBS is now launching version 2.0 which benefits from modern technologies such as wireless data communication, better sensors, and improved material handling processes. The growing importance of the technology to make biological soils and provide an essential waste management solution for manures, food waste, and other organic waste streams is increasing by the day. 

 

Farming is a foundation of economic activity. A small investment grows into an increased food, energy, or resource value that then provides for or accelerates in value through an economy. Optimizing the value potential within the bounds of sustainability, efficiently and effectively, will build considerable value and security for a country. The fulcrum of this success is the soil and then the choice and mix of crops to meet the domestic and international market demands. 

 

Nothing grows without soil. (Excluding hydroponics and aeroponics which require considerable infrastructure and are unlikely to scale to an equivalency of soil-based farming.) Ensuring that fields are healthy and that all the nutrients and water the crops need are plentifully available underpins commercial success for farms.
